Welcome to King's: Space Quiz
8th October 2021
Our first ever event as a new KCL Society was a social for freshers and refresher students at KCL.
It was a space quiz at Guy's Campus, made free of entry, and it was an absolute hit - the winning team got some space-themed treats!

Children's and Women's Health in Space
8th December 2021
This was a collaborative event between KCL Paediatric Society and KCL Obstetrics & Gynaecology Society, with talks and exciting discussions by Dr Varsha Jain and Dr Rowena Christiansen. Money was raised in support of Aerobility, a charity offering disabled people the opportunity to fly airplanes!

An Introduction to

In case you missed Lauren & Nina's talk back in October, our President and Founder, Jasmine Yap, gave a talk in collaboration with GKTeach on space medicine - she also talked about her own experiences of weightlessness with an RAF pilot!

The Final Frontier: International Undergraduate Aviation & Space Medicine Conference
26th February 2022
For the first time ever, 10 different Aviation & Space Medicine university societies across the UK teamed up to present an international student conference: The Final Frontier - for FREE!

Led by our very own Conference Director, Sofia Peacock, there were talks from leading experts in the field (including some VERY special guests from NASA!), as well as an abstract poster competition and a panel discussion.

Sustainable Cities on Mars
28th February 2022
In collaboration with KCL Biotechnology & Synthetic Biology Society and KCL Space Society, Professor David Cullen gave a talk about building sustainable cities on the Moon and Nüwa (Mars), relevant to sustainable off-world human habitats and settlements.

Held at Guy's Campus, the talk featured a fascinating Q&A session at the end - and some healthy debating!
